Minutes R. Stiles Renovation Committee March 28, 2010 Members Present: Chris Castrio - Secretary; Faith Bloomfield - Treasurer; Members- Dan Komarony; Ed Ellithorpe; Cathi and Daniel Castrio; Peter Bailey OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: – Hoffman Architects $1,100.00 UPDATE ON HOUSE: – Committee has appointed Chris Castrio to contact Charlie Hoffman - Architect to inquire about the cost of taking us through the entire Entry Project process. Committee would like to obtain a firm contract price. EVENTS & HAPPENINGS: – WORK DAY scheduled for April 17th. All are invited to work on the grounds with the Paul Bloomfield and Dan Komarony as leads or Chris Castrio as lead for interior/exterior building projects. We will be holding a meeting @ 9:00 am with work to follow. GRANTS: – On hold at this time. FUNDRAISERS: – Letter Campaign - Peter Bailey will compose a letter to be sent out to the community asking for donations. Any and all help in assisting Peter will be greatly appreciated. Peter can be contacted at 518-638-8977. – Adopt a Brick - Cathi Radner will research cost of personalized bricks that could be used in the Building Entry Project. – Columbus Day Car Show - Dan Komarony and Ed Ellithorpe are the leads for this event. Committee agreed to hold event on October 9th to coincide with the annual town wide garage sale. Mr. Komarony has scheduled a DJ and the Committee will be looking to add some “carnival” games to broaden the events impact. Any and all help in assisting Dan will be greatly appreciated. – Haunted House - Cathi Radner is the lead person for this annual event. This year the house will run Friday October 29th and Saturday October 30th. NEXT MEETING: Meeting/Work Day April 17th @ 9:00 am. at the Stiles House.
